Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment provides GTA high school students the unique opportunity to take community college classes while still in high school. Also known as concurrent enrollment, dual enrollment enables Griffin and MIT high schoolers to take college courses, taught by college professors, either at their high school campus or at a nearby community college. These courses count towards Griffin Academy and MIT Academy’s diploma requirements, allowing students to get a head start on their higher education goals. Even students who do not plan on attending college benefit from the rigor and greater diversity of course work available at our community college partners. Our college partners include Contra Costa Community College and Napa Valley Community College, among others.
